چکیده
Abstract The aim of the study is to analyse axisymmetric free vibration layered cylindrical shells filled with a quiescent fluid. fluid assumed be incompressible and inviscid. equations vibrations shell fluid, on longitudinal transverse displacement components are obtained using Love’s first approximation theory. solutions functions in separable form obtain system coupled differential terms functions. approximated by Bickley-type splines. A generalized eigenvalue problem solved numerically for frequency parameter an associated eigenvector spline coefficients. Two three different types materials under clamped-clamped boundary conditions considered. Parametric studies made variation respect length-to-radius ratio length-to-thickness ratio.

Coupled Vibration of Partially Fluid-Filled Laminated Composite Cylindrical Shells
In this study, the free vibration of partially fluid-filled laminated composite circular cylindrical shell with arbitrary boundary conditions has been investigated by using Rayleigh-Ritz method. The analysis has been carried out with strain-displacement relations based on Love’s thin shell theory and the contained fluid is assumed irrotational, incompressible and inviscid. After determining the...

متن کاملAxisymmetric response of a fluid-filled sphericaal shell in free vibrations.
This paper is concerned with a theoretical model of the head. Neuroanatomical and analytical considerations lead to a fluid-filled spherical shell as a first-generation model. The shell is considered thin, elastic, homogeneous, and isotropic. The shell equations includeboth membrane and bending effects in axisymmetric torsionless motion. The motion of the fluid is governed by the wave equation....
متن کاملFree Vibration of Lattice Cylindrical Composite Shell Reinforced with Carbon Nano-tubes
The free vibration of the lattice cylindrical composite shell reinforced with Carbon Nano-tubes (CNTs) was studied in this study. The theoretical formulations are based on the First-order Shear Deformation Theory (FSDT) and then by enforcing the Galerkin method, natural frequencies are obtained. In order to estimate the material properties of the reinforced polymer with nano-tubes, the modified...
متن کاملFree Vibration of Functionally Graded Cylindrical Shell Panel With and Without a Cutout
The free vibration analysis of the functionally graded cylindrical shell panels with and without cutout is carried out using the finite element method based on a higher-order shear deformation theory. A higher-order theory is used to properly account for transverse shear deformation. An eight noded degenerated isoparametric shell element with nine degrees of freedom at each node is considered....
